About the Program Developers
"Libby James" is a pseudonym for educators with many years of experience in early childhood and elementary age education.
The production company was started by Nancy McGowan, who earned a degree in French Language Education, Secondary Level, from the University of Georgia. Her teaching experience includes Title One Reading, professional tutoring, ESOL, substitute teaching, and afterschool programs with preschool and elementary age children. She currently lives in Marietta, Georgia.
As a student teacher, Nancy felt there must be more she could contribute to the middle and high school students in her classes. Over the next few decades, she developed her own musical and writing talents as she studied teaching techniques that were successful in other countries.

The voice of Granny Rock is performed by Jennifer Ferren. Jennifer is active in her church music program, and she also produces music CD's.
