Hello and welcome !

My name is Nancy McGowan, but my friends call me Wink. I'm learning to upload songs and books to CreateSpace, and it's coming along. Today is August 31, 2010. I guess the best thing to do is to put the date up every day, so this will manifest sooner.

Thanks for visiting, and please come back again soon!

                 "Dillon Dinosaur Takes a Chance"

Advisement: Dillon takes a swim all by himself, so please explain  that children should  NEVER go into water without an adult watching.

"Dillon Takes a Chance" begins on the beach where Dillon's friends are eating their lunch of squishy sloots. Dillon is not hungry, so he climbs an overhead tree, just as a bird flies by and drops berries onto the ground. Dillon climbs back  down to explore.

He walks to a berry, picks it up, and tastes it. YUM! It's MUCH better than sloots, and Dillon wants more. He looks for the bird, but the bird has flown over the ocean and is heading far, far away. What can Dillon do?

Join Dillon as he  "takes  a  chance" and expands his world.

Simple illustrations help children relate to the story .  Your child may choose to read the easy-reader words independently, follow along on the CD, or  enjoy being read to.
